Amy Cook provides supervision, direction, and content support for secondary students enrolled in online 9-12th grade or dual credit classes in a small group setting during regularly scheduled hours. Groups may include students of differing grade levels and abilities.
Students will also receive coaching in organizational, time management, and goal setting skills. Instruction will include development of good academic habits in active reading, effective note taking, good writing mechanics, and proofreading.
Parents will be responsible enrolling students in either Texas Tech ISD or UT High School. Students in group classes should be capable of largely working independently and will most likely need to invest time outside of class hours to maintain acceptable levels of progress. Students who need more intensive or personalized support can opt for Private Tutoring.
